The Rising Star Choir-Nashville is an inclusive music making experience for children with special needs ages 7 to 18 housed at Belmont University.
The goal of this choir is to provide a successful music making experience that is meaningful and enriching for all who are involved. The choir accepts verbal and nonverbal children. Music is chosen as a therapeutic focus on socialization, communication, sensory integration, and motor movement skills. This music enrichment program is FREE to families with children and youth who are diagnosed with Autism, Downs Syndrome, or other special needs effecting cognitive, physical, and social delays.

Older Choir: Ages 13-18 years Sundays 3:00 – 3:45 PM

The Rising Star Music Fund is a 501(c)(3) public charity dedicated to supporting music education, encouraging the study and making of music, and providing opportunities for children with special needs or in under-served communities to access well-balanced, comprehensive, and high-quality programs of music instruction.
